Functions: Direct patient care responsibilities for critical patients admitted to the MICU. Actively involved in treating patients with acute myocardial infarction and other ischemic syndromes, congestive heart failure, cardiogenic shock, rhythm disorders, sepsis, and acute respiratory failure from a myriad of causes. Duties involved performing a wide variety of procedures such as placement of central venous catheters, thoracentesis, endotracheal intubation, paracentesis, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, interpretation of CXR's, EKG's, ABG's, Lab/Hemodynamic data and ventilator management.

Functions: Outpatient primary care; Perinatal-Neonatal care; Immunization clinic; Antenatal counselling; Parent education programs; Grand rounds; Chronic disease management; Treatment of common behavioral disorders and acute illness; Neonatal follow-up clinic
